At Strength-Physiology.Online I appreciate that there may be cheaper on-line personal training solutions out there, but these sites provide plans where claimed 'personal trainers' with limited or no qualifications prescribe advice based on pseudo-science (theories or beliefs with no scientific basis). Additionally, others utilise pre-programmed software that populates the training recommendations for clients and charge the clients based on the random selection of exercises. Please beware that online personal training is a highly competitive, often misleading and popular business with a large volume of clients paying for services that are of a low standard, generalised (exercise plans and nutritional advice) that leads to issues with clients dropping out or not obtaining expected results. 

 

Due to numerous clients and personal trainers (that I have educated over serval years) approaching me for guidance and highlighting issues concerning personal training (including poor service, poor exercise selection and generalised advice given). I have decided to offer personal lifestyle coaching and 1-to-1 consultation within Strength-Physiology. Online. The services I offer represents fantastic value for money as a leading academic expert in the area of exercise prescription with over 20 years of sports science experience is constructing the training programmes.

However, I restrict the number of clients I work with a maximum of 25 clients as I always aim to provide the best possible service. This is because each individual will be fully analysed (nutritionally and physically) and consulted in which to generate scientifically specific programmes. Please look at the table below to observe the difference in service compared to others.

* Supplementation will be only advised if there is a definitive need for them to be included within the clients diet. I will not advise additional supplementation in which to generate additional income. Consumption will be centred around current scientific evidence based guidance and recommendations ONLY.

Nutritional Consultation & Intake Audit

At the beginning of your online personal training journey I will conduct a full  audit of dietary habits and suggest positive changes that are specific to your food consumption, rather than making sweeping statements and recommendations that do not  match your requirements. I ask every new client to keep a food intake and physical activity diary. This so I can know exactly what is consumed and what physical activity is performed during the preceding week. This way I can accurately conduct a full  audit of dietary habits and the clients physical activity output. This allows for better prescribing advice that can make positive changes including over consumption of food and limited physical activity expenditure. This will allow for a more cohesive nutritional plan centring around your physical activity expenditure. 

Exercise Programs Tailored to the Individual

The online personal training includes a full array of workout programs, from resistance exercise to cardio-vascular training and active recovery sessions, giving the client a specific and individualised exercise schedule.

This includes six-weeks of workout activities, from resistance training to cardio and active rest sessions. The client complete our detailed assessment and appraisal forms where we learn not just the hard facts of your previous exercise experience and medical history, but also seek to understand exactly what motivates you in the pursuit of your own unique physical excellence.

 

I individually write up a fully personalised six-week training programme for you encompassing every aspect of exercise science that will allow you to achieve your goals in a time effective manner. Every session for the month is planned including the loading dose (load lifted, intensity, repetitions and recovery). This way I can accurately assess your progress, and eliminate any guesswork that others may do .
